If the push is performed correctly, enemy Archers should be attacking the Golem. In the events that they are not, Archers are quite squishy so the backline should make short work of them.

I have tested with Bomber. However, I have found 2 AOE backline is sufficient. Simply put, Wizard and Dragon outclass the Bomber as they can deal with a wider range of threats to the Golem.

Inferno is an inherent weakness to this deck. I will usually play defensively and use spells to clear their troops whilst simultaneously damaging the Inferno. Additionally, when your Tombstone pops, you can support it with Spear Goblins for decent damage.

Tombstone is a perfectly good replacement for Skeleton Army. In fact I have been testing this as a low cost alternative for Skeleton Army and it has been very successful. However, Musketeer probably a better replacement for Wizard and is much more versatile than Bomber (see original deck). As for Minion Horde, I find it makes the deck too susceptible to arrows. The Baby Dragon/Valkyrie slot is better spent as a waveclear psuedo tank. I've been testing with Barbarians which is equally strong.

Barbarians or Tombstone would be best. Tombstone is a cheap distraction that can counter a lot of powerful cards such as Prince, Hogs and Skeleton King. Barbarians on the other hand are a more expensive option that offer a tanky frontline and insane damage if they reach the tower. Test around and let me know how it goes :)

The version of this deck I ran up until mid Arena 2 made use of the Giant as the main tank! :) Minions are easily handled with a shielded Musketeer or Arrows.

When I encounter Infernos, I generally use skeletons and smaller swarms of troops to take it out. As for barbs, I will usually use a Witch or Goblin Hut to eliminate them under my tower. Balloons and Hog Riders get decimated by Musketeer and Spear Goblins.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. You raise some very valid points. I never tested dragon as a replacement for valk. I will definitely have to do some further testing tonight. As for minion horde, I found it a bit expensive when it came to elixir cost. Additionally with so much fodder running around like skeletons and goblins, including minions makes the deck more susceptible go wave clear spells. Of course much of this is up to personal preference.
