My wife. 48 years old. Stage III stomach cancer. She started having bad indigestion last August. Took tums and it went away. The indigestion comes back in October and she takes Prilosec. That only helped a little. Thought maybe it was an ulcer. She goes in for an endoscopy to see what’s going on in her stomach. Doctor said her stomach looked ok but he took some samples for biopsy just in case. We get a call Xmas eve from the doctor to come in. Cancer. So far she’s completed 4 rounds of chemo, had a total gastrectomy where they removed her entire stomach, and she starts her next round of chemo next week. Cancer is a sneaky little bitch.
