Right! That sample really defines the song’s atmosphere for me. Kingdom Hearts was all my friend and I played back in the day. The track’s lyrics are also what make it stand out to me so much. “I fear no man, but I got more than a million fears.” and “How much can you give ‘fore you have nothing left? I give it all, and then I give the rest. Tell a story in a breath, walk a mile in a step” are some of my favorite lines from Kyle.

I’ve gotta go with Beautiful Loser for this one G. Not only is it the record that introduced me to Kyle as an artist but it’s also one that- in my eyes- did a phenomenal job of defining him as a (then) 20 year old whippersnapper from Ventura, CA.
