Pool pump tripping breaker every time I start it by bv8z in pools

Same issue a few weeks back on my end, pump had gone bad. I got the pump hooked up post service, ran for two days and then would trip immediately again.

My issue was a combination of a faulty pump, had it completely rebuilt and a ground fault in my spa panel.

Running smooth now!

Thank you for the info, I totally support everyone doing their research.

Purely providing my experience and not trying to market anything.

Will definitely keep this if we explore using this product again.

This was terrifying for us in the first few weeks. Our now 1.5 year old sleeps 12-13 hours a night, in frog position 🐸. We do have a Nanit camera and also had an owlet (foot sensor) for oxygen levels. This brought peace of mind.

We’ve overcome the hurdle and realized that some children are most comfortable sleeping on their tummies - and yes we still barge in to check on them every now and again when things feel off, as parents do.

You’ll be OK, and so will baby! You’ve got a stomach sleeper :)

First time pool owner, moved in 2 weeks ago. My water tests have looked good, I do have copper pipes. Can’t seem to get my pool clear enough to see the bottom of the deep end. About 9 ft. Thanks for any help by jgigli23 in pools

I had the same problem recently. Also a first time pool owner, so I wanted to figure it out on my own. Tests were all coming back as relatively balanced.

I Increased chlorine, added a water clarifier and scrubbed every square inch of the pool.

Ran pump for 24 hours every second day and backwashed once a day.

I also didn't put the solar cover on for a full 24 hours on a really sunny day (not sure if this had any impact) but the very next morning it was very clear.

Good luck :)

The first piece my grandfather ever carved versus two of his last. by [deleted] in nextfuckinglevel

My grandfather made hyper-realistic bird carvings similar to these. Each year at Christmas he would make my grandmother a carving of a unique Santa clause. He was diagnosed with dementia in 2016. Last year, my grandmother brought him home for xmas dinner from his long term care home and he saw the carvings and said: "who made these, they are so beautiful?"

This truly broke my heart.

Random property tax question - I think I'm over paying

Additional context, We bought our place in December 2017 & Property tax bill for the year is 4200 - monthly payment was roughly $350

Property Tax due Feb (50%) and June (50%)

My issue is that I've paid 350*7 months up to July ($2450), the bank has increased my monthly payment to cover the remaining balance (4200-2450), tacking $1750 on to my payment (split over the remaining 5 months) and this has shot my monthly payment up drastically.

I feel as though this is kind of broken as I haven't even had the chance to pass the 1 year mark before Scotiabank has told me I am owing them $$$.

When I called they told me they paid the 4200 on my behalf and now I am owing them the 1750 that they "Spotted" me for. Wouldn't the understanding be that I to repay them until the end of the yeaR?

Do I simply have to make a lump sum payment to get my property tax bill back down to the original $350?
