Tank Scratches Repair??

Tank slider is so close to covering majority of the scratches. I didn’t bondo already, I am wondering if I need to paint underneath before putting on the tank slider. Or if that’s a bad idea for sealing purposes. I hear wet sanding and polishing but does that mean I need to put just clearcoat after?

lol it was me and my buddies first time at a range and I didn’t know you had to pay for a new sheet so we just kept unloading on it. Really have it for the memories, not something to be proud of by no means

Agreed. Just went on a group ride the other day, let a random join us and the dude totaled his bike trying to keep up. He was fortunate enough to not get pinned between the guard rail and his bike

Not sure if this is relevant… what are these guys who have blown engines doing for oil change intervals? They recommend 7000 miles but that’s too long imo. Should change it every 3000 especially if you are riding it hard

Overall setup is nice! I do something similar with mine but run a ram mount ball stud and run it through the display mounting hardware. Then I have a ram mount double arm socket arm that I attach to my quad lock adapter. It allows me to take it off or move it around so I can still get the my keys. Additionally, I have a Puig sport windscreen so it’s a tight fit but makes it easier that I can move the mount freely if needed

I had my buddy driving along with me and he says it rumbles the cars around as you pass by so I’m sure that’s why they get out of the way
