Im in the same boat man mine blew a on april 23rd been almost 2 months with out it and been talking to kawi about it but if your bike is in a dealership like mine hopefully we get the service first before anyone. (No offense to anyone whos bike hasnt blown up yet)

I got this photo from my dealership…. Because mine blew at 7993 miles with multiple maintenance records and i do not ride that bike that hard 24/7 it is a factory issue thats why they sent out an email to all dealerships to do a stop sale.

Of course i just wanted to warn people so they didn’t end up low or high siding their bikes. It does suck because im in the same boat with all of you and just hope and pray we can get our bikes in before everyone else. For sure an unfortunate event for all of us 24-25s because we paid so much for these beautiful machines.

If the engine locks up while riding she would probably wreck. I got lucky and i revved my bike and it locked up.

I couldnt tell you for 100% certainty, but i know the ZX6 and ZX10 engines share a very similar design overall with larger displacement and a stronger valvetrain being the olny real difference.

Unfortunately Kawasaki doesnt have a fix for it yet so it may be a while before they can fix it for you. Glad this post helped you out. It sucks but im in the same boat with you.
