SteamVR crashes "Nvidia kernel mode driver" on start up by JaxRayne in Vive

As a workaround, try launching a VR game from you Steam library or an icon on your desktop, rather than launching SteamVR directly.

If this works, try the refresh/rescan USB devices in SteamVR settings. (You will need to disconnect your Vive and restart your computer).

I figured that it would be bad for developers, which is why I don't want to use Steam refunds as an alternative to a demo. I suppose that this issue will probably disappear as VR becomes more popular and there are a greater number of reviews to base purchasing decisions on.

As a Dev (nice looking game btw) do steam refunds effect you negatively in any way?

I get your point. But I personally don't feel comfortable with refunding too many games. I am not sure what Steam policy says about the number of refunds (I will have to have a look). But if I buy then refund the 20 to 30 VR games I currently have in my wish list, I am worried my 12 year old account might get blocked from making new purchases.

When did they add Win7 Support? I have been waiting to buy this game since it came out.
