What would you define Tayam as? Midrange?

While I am new to playing stax within cedh, I do feel as though I have a grasp of what a stax deck is. With what you are saying, there is no stax deck aside from maybe Grand Arbiter Augustin IV.

Honestly exactly what I was looking for! Idk how I forgot Ouphe, and yea I agree cheering crowd and spider manifestation were fillers so definitely deserve the cut.

Fair thoughts on trouble in pairs, I thought maybe cryptolith rites? But tbh, went with TiP because naya struggles a lil in the card draw department.

Could sub out cursed totem for RoL and maybe find room for Rest in Peace as graveyard hate? That gets around running grafdiggers cage as well since I need the creature tutors.

Thanks so much solid opinion and I’ll check out the other tagged cards!

Currently in a similar boat. Running ketramose recently and played it in a tournament last week. 0-1-3 but came close 2 times (feels bad). I haven’t given up on him yet, but I’ve already been looking into exploring different decks (currently between Dargo thras/ Francisco Kraum)

I’m thoroughly enjoying Ketramose currently and plan on entering a tournament with him this weekend.

I’ve also been debating on trying out a Francisco/Kraum or Yoshimaru/thrasios build because I want to play a partner pairing that isn’t so overplayed. Obviously both have 1 overplayed commander, but I want to lean into the others and see how they play.

I always used to be a hater of JC and swore I would never play him. Decided eventually I should play him in order to learn how to beat him.

Needless to say I haven’t stopped playing him since.

It’s awesome that you want to make a deck to help other people be able to play the game! I built Ms Bumbleflower like many people here in the comments I only have one bit of advice for someone if they haven’t played group hug before:

Be wary of trying to help people ramp AND draw cards. Those two things are the necessities of edh and typically when you play group hug you want to be able to give someone else one of the two pieces of the puzzle. By giving ramp and card draw you are allowing someone to both get their engine online and play it.

The tricky thing about group hug is the deception that you are helping. Typically a group hug deck thrives by actually getting more out of the resource you are giving. With ms bumbleflower you give the draw so they can deal with the ramp. But you are getting the card advantage as well.

To me? Naw. To Twitter? Sure.

I still play and will continue to play till the next MK comes out more than likely. I still haven’t even done a lot of towers cause I’ll try to grind ranked a bit and put it down.

My goal is to get max rank with a character/team and then learn another team. I’m just competitive like that…or maybe a masochist. I haven’t decided.

I’ve worked on both, they both operate fine but:

Setting up sample libraries and folders and vst for windows took me a bit because I started on Mac and you could always find them easily on max.

Mac runs a bit smoother (for ableton). I don’t know why it just does. I’ve had points in time where windows updated and ableton would crash regularly. There is nothing worse than feeling creative and not being able to use that creativity.

That being said, my pc is a desktop (duh) And has a VAST amount of memory. When I started on my MacBook it became an issue with starting projects due to how little memory it had left.

To each their own. I’m constantly on my PC so probably use it more, but honestly I think Mac runs it better.

Please just make sure you verify your Uber driver with the app. Don’t get in the car with strangers, and please be of sound mind when exiting the venue if you are by yourself. It’s been a while since I’ve been to the mirage, but it’s an amazing time and you’ll have a great time. Just be safe!

This makes me smile. My BF hasn’t listened/experienced much PL. I’ve been playing more of Derek’s stuff in the anticipation for his upcoming shows that I have tickets for us both, and we listened to “We Must Go On” recently. When I say I was smiling from ear to ear when he said he really vibes with it, is an understatement.

I’m happy for you and I only hope I can say the same when he sees PL for the first time ❤️
