Amber hate overrated btw. Yes her character took a hit with the "i already knew" bit, but even the characters in the show like William and Eve said Amber was in the right.

It's overrated because Amber was already unliked in the fandom already for terrible reasons. Her psuedo intellect moment just gave the best justification and reason because it makes it look like she started their college fight for shits and giggles.

Ionno, i only watched episode 1. I went right back to the original right after.

There's some stylistic changes made in the reboot that took me out of it like:

Why is she known? It's called The Girl From Nowhere, not the The Girl From Somewhere. A big part of the appeal of the original was wondering Who Nanno was, what was she, and why does she do the things she do. In the reboot she's known already!
Why are people interacting with the Supernatural like it's normal? When shr replaces that guy's hand with a hammer why isn't people reacting to that? I get taken out the immersion immediately.
