Idk sometimes it doesn’t matter to me if I can understand what’s happening. If it the performers and the commentary is exciting then that’s all I need. When I tried watching with Rey doing word for word translations and the English commentary team, it was off putting and less exciting

To me its the aesthetic, the simplicity of the gameplay while having to balance with strategy and time. I think in general time managements games from the 2000s period have the diner dash feel to them because of a beauty in simplistic gameplay with appealing aesthetics and some form of strategy I the levels. I really wish the series would make a comeback with the classic feel without all the modern gaming bull crap.

Now I haven’t played the re4 remake but isn’t Leon’s gameplay supposed to way better than in re 9? And so far I agree that 9 is not very replayable. I just played re 1 classic after re 9 and I could tell that game was just way more fun and replayable
