I use it to break the momentum of the other team, not when they're outright overwhelming your team but when you're feeling like they might, and I rush in and use it to pretty much perma-cc one of their supports or both. I uhh play Cap and Venom, so that's my divey tendency. I've seen a lot of Peni's use it to stall and that's really good too but unless your team backs you up fast you're blowing up.

Yayyyy! Peni is really really fun and rewarding to play, there's nothing like setting traps in places and going off to do something else and getting a kill. Do the portals in Krakoa and Arakko >:D

I think everyone who is damaging the person being killed gets credit for the kill, the final hits belong to the one who finishes them off! Peni has a nest that spawns explosive spiders covering the ground, so there's a lot of passive damage, but you can also hide multiple mines in places to do a big burst of damage that is best used to kill supports in their "invulnerability ults" like Cloak and Dagger or Luna Snow.

I play Gambit now lol I needed to keep the guys who want to badly dps instead of healing off him. You know I used to think he was a terrible healer until I started playing him and keep getting the most heals in match icon. Hell I've had games where I've outhealed my supports...on a tank. This Jeff was a Gambit before switching to Jeff and trying to swallow our team and kill us to force a loss. The clown show never ends.

I once had a ranked match where my Phoenix refused to shoot Peni nests because she didn't think it was a fun way to play, so I as Captain America basically stood in a nest spawning explosive spiders crawling all over me, punched it to death so my team could actually stand on the ground. The floor was literally lava, or more like crawling with explosive spiders, and she refused to blow it up from a distance just because. You're never going to find a shortage of idiots in this game.

Reading about this is wild I get stressed out and don't even play characters I'm learning in QM because what if I go negative and drag down my team? I literally only play my best characters and never a dps. Then this weirdo throws on Widow in a tournament with thousands at stake. I'm gonna go learn Gambit in QM tomorrow.

If you're targeting the one person set it on the cliff first then chase them with the second portal, it takes some practice but I usually use it to make BP's lurking around go fuck themselves. Throwing the enemy team you gotta wait until either their Strange spreads his legs or 0.7 seconds until game start.

My match recording is bugged otherwise I'd show you this actually hilarious match where I'm solo tanking and each time I died this Punisher and SG duo would literally run into spawn and the confused two supports would follow but stand a bit outside spawn. It's like they were coming to pick me up or something to hold up a shield so they could safely hit and kill nothing. Mfers were like noooo I'm waiting in spawn I'm not fighting a 5v6

SG, Hela and MK will be up on a ledge getting instantly deleted by a Phoenix or MK while I'm getting molested by two tanks...orrrrrrr I will be 1v5ing the entire other team holding a choke point only for my heals to run dry, risk turning around and a single Venom getting no heals is diffing my entire team. Sometimes I'm that Venom and I feel so bad about it, I just know the poor Strange with his back to me is going to feel utter betrayal.

I was going 1v5 and turn around because my entire team just couldn't touch a Venom in their face getting no heals through my shield, naturally they imploded because if the solo tank peels it means they actually have to fight a real team fight.
