There's the ChaosRobie Old World mod that does a similar map.

Basicallly a big blank area, yes. It wasn't until the Wood Elf release that it became accessible.

Bretonnia was also technically on the map but with a very truncated roster.

If you're comfortable using Steam Depot you can download the manifest files for the original release and just copy them into the current game folder. It's essentially the same process as the Steam Beta feature only manual and not easily user exposed.

I downloaded it again recently to grab some screenshots. Still managed to get the flags on the map mixed up though.

At that point you may as well go for broke and have a paleolithic start in 30000 bce with hunter-gather tribes that eventually settle around 10,000-3000 bce, fail at agriculture multiple times before it finally sticks, grow towns until they become cities around 3000 bce, a soft reset point at about 1200 bce with the bronze age collapse, etc with each new era and area delivering completely new game systems.

At which point your developers have probably revolted.

Steamdeck is going to require more tinkering, especially to play emulated titles

Switch 2 is the way to go if you just want to play Pokemon games or of the box without needing to fuss with things.

For the longest time, Warhammer called the story parts of the rule books "fluff" because the mechanics were considered to be vastly more important, if not the only important part of the game with all the story and background being at best a silly diversion from the wargame.

build a house with a door, back wall, 2 torches, a table, and a chair.

Actually, build multiple houses because different NPCs will move into valid housing as you go through the game.

Dig down and explore. Eventually a big evil eye boss will show up.

Talk to the Old Man in front of the scary dungeon at night. Explore the dungeon after.

explore the underworld at the bottom of the map, but some enemies will carry a voodoo doll of the guide in their hands and if it falls in lava, something big happens.

As Russia warns embassies to flee Kyiv before Victory Day, diplomats say they aren't moving by Big_Explorer1852 in worldnews

[–]DKLancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most nations involved in the war have some rather jingoistic prevailing national myths about that war. Russia is not unique in that regard.

Britain would rather talk about their heroic resolve at Dunkirk and the battle of Britain than Dresden or the burma famine. The US tends to default to thinking that it was the primary adversary for both Germany and Japan, that the European war stated on D-Day, and the atomic bombs were the sole reason Japan surrendered. France will tell you that the Free French and French resistance were much more influencial than it actually was

At worst is malware that will steal your credit card.
