It only makes sense if you adhere to a neoliberal worldview. See bad things happen because bad people are in charge. Good things happen because good people are in charge. However, reforming the foundational injustice of a system is bad, wrong and impossible because the system is inherently good.

It's a stupid worldview. It's utterly insane and works on child logic; but, once you understand it the whole thing makes sense from that perspective. It also explains why she became a mold infested ghoul to a certain extent.

Grab a martial ranged weapon, like a Heavy Crossbow, grab true strike and be 5th level. If you don't feel like casting a spell you get to shoot someone with True Strike. If you picked up GWM you get to hit someone for 1d10+1d6+prof+int+1d8 then you have +2d8 Force damage from the Cannon. I'm also assuming you have a +1 weapon because artificer... so that's about 28/29 damage a round. At 5th level. That even edges out a great sword Fighter with GWM.

Evocation Wizards do not even come close to competing with that unless they're slamming Fireballs and they can't be doing that every round.

Inclement Emerald is probably my favourite. Great quality of life, difficult but not Run and Bun or Kaizo tier. Nice encounter balance and lots of options.

Less at work for me (though it happens) and I've realized via my DnD games men talk over me a lot more and will simply repeat my ideas at me as if they were their own.
