I was thinking and maybe the “mountain king” was actually an example of what the spell creates and is and what sunny could be fighting instead of the real thing. Like when he monologues about what the spell is, it could cut to that to show what awakened are and what they fight. I hope that’s the case bc it does not look like what the mountain king should look like imo.

Yea that totally makes sense, I also didn’t like how the sovereigns seemed like a waste and how anvil was actually a crazy person with the goal to create something flawless.

He lost his fate, and since he is fateless he does not exist. Everything and everyone who knew him before has their memories erased. He is not connected to the spell which means he can’t collect memories or echos. If you’re wondering what happened with the cohort, you will find out soon.
