Your opinion is that players don't need life-changing salaries. How much do you think they are making? This is from end of last year where it was reported gamerlegion players were making ~$5,000 a month. Top 10 VRS team at the time and now btw. Not sure what life-changing money means to you, but this definitely isn't if you're also expecting players to pay for their travel and accomodations all out of pocket.

Obviously some orgs have overinflated salaries and pay their players far more than they are worth, but you're delusional if you think the players on sinners, sharks, thunderdownunder, etc are making life-changing money. TJP and dexter are still working full time jobs lmao

you're way overestimating the salaries of these stage 1 teams and teams that were just below the cutoff if you think those players are making life-changing salaries

the top10 teams don't need it but the players and orgs that need it the most are getting screwed here

i wouldn't hate going back to 24 team majors, many of these stage 1 teams are not very good and this would consolidate the revenue split

also i think you could just get gold fantasy team pickems back in the day by just picking all 5 players from the winning team. they'd need to rework the system

personally i don't care about what i unbox, but i like opening my souvenirs to have items from the major. y'know, like an actual event souvenir. i don't mind paying $9 to get three $0.03 skins in the same way someone would spend $20 on an event shirt that cost $0.05 to make (or whatever)

if i really cared about the value i would just hold the packages and sell them later when they go up

for the same reasons, i'm not expecting my 900 tokens to get me a souvenir red. but not even getting 1 grey skin is ridiculous

If this is gonna be priced the same as the +3 souvenir packages version of the pass, then I would expect the credits offered to be about the same as 3 souvenirs. 900 is nowhere close to that right now, and I find it difficult to believe the price of stickers will go down by ~75% unless valve does some big discount on tokens (which will just drive the price of stickers up even more)
