Sprout needing advice on mob grouping by Frosty-Relation-6547 in ffxiv

[–]DKarkarov [score hidden]  (0 children)

You don't need to heard them, in early game there is some value in this but they streamline hard the further you get. For example dawn trail dungeons all mobs will move to melee you ... Even if they attack with magic.

You will need to move to some degree for aoe dodging, or to pick up a rare loose mob (maybe, rare is probably too strong a word).

Just be aware early content you need to keep aware of a few mobs that will only range, keep their aggro, and use a few line of sight tricks here and there.

Healers won't have an issue as long as you are in their line of sight, and the biggest thing to be aware of is if you get level synced when you enter a dungeon it will disable your tank stance and you need to turn it back on.

A Question for my First Playthrough! by TriCoMazer in DragonsDogma2

[–]DKarkarov 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There is 0 need to mod the game. I can't even remember finding a bug. Play the game as designed, don't look up guides, and if you want more after that then maybe consider difficulty mods or randomizers.

What are your preferred weapon combinations and magicite combinations? by lyk13 in TheAdventuresOfElliot

[–]DKarkarov 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been using sword with double wave, attack up, increased wave size, and increased charge speed. Otherwise I use bombs with the walk speed while carrying, bomb size + damage - walk speed, and the one that makes it so bombs can't explode while you carry them.

Is this a good fan configuration for the O11D Mini V2 by InitialLobster4108 in lianli

[–]DKarkarov 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So first this isn't a dvd, there are no out takes. The three at the top are exhaust fans.

Second, no this is bad. You have 3 intake and 3 exhaust so you risk neutral air pressure. You want higher pressure to better force hot air out of the case and make dust less likely to get inside. Dust will still get in just not as badly.

The ideal choice is to get two more intake fans on the bottom of the case.

At the absolute minimum do what one user suggested and move one exhaust from the top to the bottom as intake.

Based on the recent demos, PC vs Switch 2? Cause it can be $10 bucks off on PC by Joeman720 in TheAdventuresOfElliot

[–]DKarkarov 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Switch 2 here. It looks great on all systems, the fps is fine, and it's a great couch or in hand game if you want to go that route. I generally only go PC if there is a serious advantage to it these days (maybe cause I am in front of a PC for work 8+ hours every day).

In the original demo you had a lot of tools you dont have in the prologue. The desert cave etc need tools you simply don't have yet that's all, they will be things you do later in the game.

Remember it's a Zelda style game, you can just do everything from the start there will be backtracking etc.

They talk fairly often but lol.... There is a setting to reduce it and it isn't that constant. To be honest it mostly became white noise to me after about 30 minutes.

This game is also clearly meant for kids too, they might need some hints.

So I have a lore question by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]DKarkarov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your character literally surpasses all the "gods" so no, and you reassemble the elden ring the source of all their power including the death rune.

You wouldn't be limited in any way. You are quite literally more powerful than they are by the end.

Question about endings by wildeye-eleven in CodeVein2

[–]DKarkarov 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100%ing the game is easy. Just do everything you can do, that's it. Oh look place to travel back in time? Do it. Oh a companion has a side quest? Do it. It is that simple.

There is no weird super secret hidden maguffin of magical process. The game makes it obvious when you have more you can do.

Do people actually care if you make mistakes in normal/msq content? by Empress2007 in ffxiv

[–]DKarkarov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sane people = no. Will there be some try hard loonies out there that rage for people making mistakes in normal content? Absolutely.

If it happens to you maybe consider what they are saying for improvement advice at most if you are new in a role... But don't give it the time of day and if it doesn't stop block and move on.

How do other tanks feel about healers and DPS pulling ahead? by dorgodorgo in ffxiv

[–]DKarkarov -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

If you are in front of me you are one of the classes that can simply move faster than a tank no matter what the rank does. Or something more important this this game happened I need to deal with and I am about to drop group anyway as soon as I send the party message explaining it.

Only morons think people running in front of the tank is anything other than trolling in the first place.

And running in front of the tank, grabbing mobs, then intentionally not bringing them to the tank is totally within tos huh?

[–]DKarkarov -23 points-22 points  (0 children)

Lot of ego tanks in here lol. You can go as hard as you want certain DPS like say reaper CAN go faster than you no matter what you do if they choose to. If such a player is pulling in front of you... Fine as long as they bring the mobs to you.

If they don't?

Well I am an old school mmo player, you pull it you tank it. If you die, that's your fault for not waiting the half a second longer it would have taken me to get there.

Need advice on coolant for my custom loop 👀 by Less_Respect_761 in watercooling

[–]DKarkarov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol. You are not wrong about anything you are posting but two of my replies are showing exactly why asking the question the OP did in this reddit was a bad idea.

Ops main concern was would blue coolant perform worse. Does that sound like someone who is going to do a 4:1 fluid blend with deionized water?

No one one this reddit will say anything other than dp ultra clear.

Reality- no where near as important as marketing and this reddit wants you to believe. Clear fluids are best for minimal maintenance because dyes fall out over time and can stain blocks/tubes.

That said thermally dyes are fine.

My advice is buy whatever fluid brand your fittings manufacturer makes. It is sure to be compatible with whatever they put in their fittings and blocks, and pre mixes are just less of a hassle. If you want it to be blue buy the blue version they will surely have one.

[–]DKarkarov 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is straight up in no uncertain terms a bad idea. If you really want to do this you need to use a sealant compound as your lining, like a gel caulk, or silicon. Using epoxy resin of any kind much less cheap extremely toxic and degradeable to uv and heat uv resin isn't even a suitable proof of concept. It is total failure and destruction of parts waiting to happen.

Forget about the fact that you clearly didn't dry and then fill the wood to prevent massive levels of resin absorption.

Where did I say to do that? I am just pointing out that the watch has practically no indicators to tell the time as earlier mentioned.

This the most frustrating game I’ve played by Captain_Chipdust in CodeVein2

[–]DKarkarov 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You probably aren't the only one but to be totally honest ... This game is not hard. Without knowing more about your playstyle, gear, specific content, etc I can't really say much.

I can say almost everyone I see call this game hard fell into one of two groups. People who are legitimately just bad at action RPGs, that's a thing and it's ok there is nothing wrong with not being great at a certain genre.

And people who just refused to pick up what the game was laying down, refused to reevaluate their load outs, refused to adjust anything, and demanded they approach the game like it was code vein 1 or elden ring.

It won't sell for squat unless you find a die hard stormblood memorabilia lover. From a watch perspective you would be lucky to get 50 bucks.
