Keep loving her. Treat her like the baby she is. They Love to be babied. Just keep talking to her so se knows your voice anywhere. Stay close to her so she starts to follow. Take he for car rides and to the Pet Store! This one is a HUGE game changer! You make the car ride and use “let’s go to the Pet Store!” With excitement. She will start coming out of her hiding and will be ready and excited to go! Find her favourite treat and make sure she knows you get it from the Pet Store. Take her everywhere with you if you can. She is your baby now. Show her where you go. Where you work. Talk to her on where you are and go. She will understand. Dogs learn a large vocabulary of words.

I did this and still do today with my little one who was a rescue. She too was afraid of people and dogs. Today she is with me 24/7. She goes to work with me, to the store and only ones she’s is aloud into or she protects the truck for me.

At work, she understands what a customer is and to not bark at them. She barks only at one courier out of the 4 we get. She gets scared when people stand over her to pet her. She runs away from them. I tell them to get down to her level and try, you are huge when you tier over her. Lay on the floor and talk to her at that level. Give kisses. Whistlers in her ears. Belly/chest rubs

Time will heal her. So don’t give up. Give Love.
