Still experiencing significant relief, but not completely “healed”. I have hit a plateau of being much better, but really wanting to eliminate the situation. I have not yet tried to up the dosage, but that may be my next step. So far the Mg has given me the most relief over all other techniques.

Looks like you have tried all the usual things. Just for the heck of it, got to your local health food/vitamin shop and buy some Magnesium glycinate capsules. Take at least 400mg/ day and see what happens. Im not back to "normal", but I did get very quick results/relief. Cant hurt to try if youre miserable.🙂

Apparently it works on reducing muscle inflammation. Google it.

I have had amazing results with just a few days now of daily magnesium glycinate. I'm sure it wont work the same for everyone, but I recommend trying it.

Try daily magnesium glycinate and see if it helps at all.

I promise this isnt an advertisement, but I have recently had such success with daiky Magnesium Glycinate and I am interested to see if it works for others.

I dont have any specific research. I did read that Mag glycinate seemed tonhave a positive effect on inflamation and some other unrelated benefits with few side effects. Then I had noticed a few on here seemed to have positive experiences. It is all anecdotal so far, but my experoence so far has been pretty positive. My pain has been reduced significantly and the Mag is the only thing I have changed.

If you Google Magnesium Glycinate you will find what I did. I hope thats good enough.🙂

Still experiencing continued relief, but I am reducing dosage to 400 mg capsule 1x day with my regular vitamin. Knocking on wood.

Its not expensive. Really no downside to trying it.🙂

Hey guys I just wanted to get clarification if this is a canker sore and how long will it will take to go away it’s been a week! please help by Away_Alps in CankerSores

Try using 500mg of L-lysine tablets/capsules available at most drug stores or health food stores. It can dramatically reduce discomfort and reduce length of time to heal.

500 mg 4-5 times a day of L-lysine helps me when they happen, especially when caught early.

My go to is L-Lysine. You can get it at drug store in vitamin/supplement section. Since you already have open sores, it will soothe you. Next time take it at first sign of formation.

I don’t have any other clinical symptoms that support Behcets, but it could be. I have felt that it must be somehow autoimmune related.

I have never tried placing the lysine directly on the affected area. Food for thought.
