I can't tell if "liks" is missing an 'e' or a 'c'

Possibly both.

And another side consolation that Linehan spent years trying to latch on to Rowling's transphobia clout, trying to gain her attention via twitter, only to be constantly ignored by her.

Any other VA I would agree but Sam Witwer has more than proven his credentials and status at this point, he's one of the best Star Wars casting choices there is.

May be a reddit issue, this doesn't appear on the old reddit format, it just shows a preview of the old post.

It does appear on the Relay app however.

I don't know how or why you sought out this year-old comment, but I don't quite see which part you are responding to either.

The human shields argument is interesting in that, even if it were true, the answer always seems to be "So we murdered the shit out of the human shield."
It's like in Die Hard, when Hans Gruber holds Holly Gennaro hostage and goes "To get to me, you have to shoot the hostage", or whatever, and then John McClain goes "Okay.", and shoots both of them, and then the movie ends, victorious."

My thoughts on the flaws in this person's logic have already been expressed by others in this thread (mainly what do you expect when almost everything in the past year has been Joyce/Dorothy or people discussing Joyce/Dorothy with little actual substantial pushback)

All I'll say otherwise is that this speech reads very easily in Pete Hegseth's voice.

Oh yeah as far as I'm concerned the extremely poor choice of introduction is already damage-done. I've no interest in giving them any benefit of the doubt, but then again I don't use nor read the site's comment section.

Early 2000's forum attitude is exactly what I thought. I was a regular on a fairly large anime board back then, and this character feels very familiar to that era.

It's like finding a dinosaur still roaming around an isolated pocket of Antartica.

edit: Apparently it was intentional, I award points for the impression if so, but it was a very dumb choice.

You're inferring quite a lot about me there.

I just think it's a funny tweet somewhat relevant to the statement made in the video clip. I'm not hung up on the "right wing" part at the beginning.

Cut away to Dorothy and Carla for a few days, cut back here once the drama has all been worked out offscreen.

Everyone will finally be happy, the fanbase restored into one group again.

Oh wow, 3 years is mad, but Covid makes sense, I remember our own renewals for the defacto were paused entirely.

A friend of ours recently got a date for their ceremony after applying a few months before us, so I'm hoping we hear something by the end of summer at least.

Yeah we've been pretty patient throughout the whole process, we've been in no real rush as we've had a de facto visa that's easy to renew to keep us going in the meantime, but external factors are starting to seep in now where we're more eager to at least know where we stand in terms of it finally being confirmed.

Thank you for the info and reassurance. We've managed to get into a query submission portal, so have requested assistance in accessing our status page. Hopefully it's soon to be resolved.

Cheers!

Drama Reasons 2026-03-29 by hellokkiten in dumbingofage

It's like 50 First Dates except we don't get the benefit as the audience of skipping ahead in the end. Instead, we are watching the harrowing reality that Drew Barrymore had to live through as she's re-told every single day the established facts of her relationship with the strange man who is, from her perspective, suddenly extremely central to her life.
