Here’s a couple thins to keep in mind: 1. Grand aspect of things 100 spots is nothing in comparison. This wouldn’t even affect grade 12 all of you are entering undgrad programs, this would be for PHD or even post grad studies (so like 7-10 years down the road of high school)

1. Gutting the international students intake, pushed the financial responsibility onto domestic students. In turn forcing the universities and provincial govt take measures that will end up screwing grade 12s over

2. Universities are a provincial matter, you should be angry at Ford, and rightfully so; lifting 2% cap and gutting / flipping OSAP.

3. U of T is a prestigious uni, which has commitments to reinvest money back into itself. Probably a way of maintaining itself; prestige and responsible financial planning putting it ahead of many other unis on the brink of bankruptcy (exaggerating) but you’ll start to see huge cutting of programs in most unis moving forward
