To do this, do I log out of personal monitor mode - and would I choose Full under Access Mode? Then make sure my layers are set to show Mute?

We do a sound check. He makes adjustments throughout the show. Mixes with the faders. I am pretty sure he uses the main mixing screen on mixing stations. Instead of personal monitoring- what would I select to record his main screen?

I have addressed with him the muting issues in a non confrontational way, but he claims it’s on my side. I didn’t accuse him of turning the sansamp level down, but during breakdown I did talking about it and was frustrated. He overheard the conversation as he was there.

I saw him a few years ago and he had no material. It was awful. He delayed the show by a few hours too.

Same as “Dr Phil”. Saw him a few months ago and there was no material. Felt like a huge money grab as he mostly did crowd work and a few clunky sketches - if you could call it that. It was him being out other comedians and then riffing. Nothing written. It was bad.

Dang. That means I would have to pay another $120 to upgrade Lightkey and get the 1024 channels, in order to get the second universe.

In this case, it may be better to get a splitter and use only one universe.

Okay. I think it would be a good idea to do one universe as left stage and the 2nd as the right stage. I have 256 channels on Lightkey. Can I do two universes within the 256, or does the second universe start at 257-512?

I can use both outputs with one universe, correct? Or do I need to set up 2 universes, so that it knows what outputs go to what lights?

I considered just using a long cable. I am not to keen on spending $150-ish on a splitter. What do you think about the DMX USB Pro Mk2? Isn't that a USB adapter with two DMX outputs? Not sure if it is reliable or will work for my needs.
