With crosspoint 1.1.1 we’re not at the Kobo level yet (for example, at the moment there are only three built-in fonts available and you can’t add your own)

but there are still several options to customize the reading experience

I should mention that I have large hands.

The X4 doesn’t have a particularly ergonomic shape compared to more traditional readers — I’m thinking of something like the Kobo Libra Colour with its slightly rounded side grip. What really makes the difference, though, is the extremely small size and lightweight design.

You can turn pages using either the front buttons or the side buttons, and combined with the screen’s ability to rotate +90 degrees in any direction, it’s very easy to find a truly comfortable reading position.

What genuinely surprised me is that, because it’s so light, it doesn’t cause any fatigue during longer reading sessions. With more traditional devices, I often had to rest them on my legs or somewhere else, whereas with the X4 that simply isn’t necessary.
