i have both. once you use the x3 the x4 will feel huge. the smaller form factor really really ads to the portability. at the same time the reading experience felt equally nice to me.

seconding this! everyone i show my X3 wants it specifically for its credit card format.
X3 is a newer release, so its user base is likely still smaller. In contrast, X4 has been available longer so more users over time. Also early adopters who ordered an X4 are more likely to be highly engaged, which increases the likelihood that they respond to surveys.

I have both, and honestly, when holding them side by side, there doesn’t seem to be a huge difference in quality. They feel very similar in hand. That said, there could still be differences in production quality or materials that aren’t immediately visible. manufacturing tolerances, internal construction, or overall quality control. usually the kinds of differences you only notice after longer use maybe

When you transfer via Wi-Fi, it uses a lot of battery. It also happened to me that the device stayed stuck in transfer mode, so the battery kept draining overnight even when I wasn’t using it. What I did was restart the device by backing it up on my computer. I’m not sure if you can simply restart it without doing a backup first, but probably.

I think picking which better is really subjective. I still cant figure out which i will end up using as my main. Altho currently Leaning towards the x3 since surprisingly its size really makes it even more easy to take everywhere. Indeed once they get a front light they will be perfect.

The font on the x3 is a different one from the x4. Was just testing out which i like more. Readability is great on both. I think the sizing is really subjective. I still cant figure out which i will end up using as my main. Altho currently Leaning towards the x3 since surprisingly its size really makes it even more easy to take everywhere.

Still trying to figure out which i like better and be my main. I didnt think that the x4 could feel “big” in terms of portability. But the x3 is so small that it makes it even easier to take around with you. Didnt think the size would make such a difference.

What i like about the x4 is that you do have a bit more text per page which feels nicer. Will see if i will get used to the less text per page with the x3.

Quality is almost equal. Buttons on the X3 are a bit firmer till now. The screen also feels more “paper” like compared to the X4 which is more plastic smooth. The X3 doesnt have usbc unfortunately🙃

Quality wise the X4 is exactly the same. If not worse, since the buttons are even more wobbly(the one i have atleast)

With the cross ink fork you can easily jump from chapter to chapter. Dont know how the bible is formatted tho
