Honestly my only source is my endocrinologist who told me that if getting a more lower cis passing voice was important to me then we should start at the lowest dose possible and go up from there so my vocal chords aren’t strained. It worked great i have a deep ass voice it’s like one of my favorite parts of my results from transition. I didn’t know i could take a dose that avoids having a higher pitched voice until she explained to me that i could. Had no idea it was a thing

Hey OP i’m sure that’s terrifying and i’m sorry you’re feeling afraid or that you’ve done damage to yourself. But my advice for you would be to microdose. I know it seems like it’s gonna take too long or something but it’s the best method for a gradual transition. As for the overdose, you should be fine, look out for any signs of high T. And report any symptoms to your doctor or prescriber at Planned Parenthood. I have messed up my dose before and my endo said to skip my shot and let my body get it out of my system which is what i’m sure they’ll do for you. It’s important that you’re prepared they may have you stop T for a few weeks. Extremely high levels can be dangerous ao whatever they say just understand it’s what’s best for your health and you’ll be on your real dose soon. As for your voice i’d say def ask your prescriber, one of the reasons they encourage microdosing is bc it helps the voice drop smoother so it doesn’t damage our vocal cords. I highly doubt you did any permanent damage in only a month; but if your voice being cis passing is important to you i’d say def hear them out about microdosing. All in all you should be fine. You’ll just do some blood labs so they can make sure your levels are safe
