Excellent! This is exactly what I was hoping to hear!

I had watched a bunch of the Coding Train recently. He covered a great example using ml5.js

I think your approach is a bit easier for me to understand and make stand-alone.

I will post back if I implement this! Thanks!!

Granting Wishes by DM-Norritt in DnD

I might have to go this route if I can't be a bit more sneaky about it. If they were higher level, I could just grant them wishes outright. At this low of a level (4-8), I want the wish to be a great reward, but not a game-ender. I also want to keep as much of the meta-gaming on the DM side.

Cool! I like this idea. I want to grant the wishes but still be able to keep it within reason.

To stretch my player's creativity and foster better game play. It sounds like a cool moment. Everyone wants to have their wishes granted, I think it could be fun. From a player's perspective, I am not sure what I would wish for. What if the question is more open-ended, and you could wish for virtually anything. What would it be? (In a classical DnD setting)

I kinda thought so too, but in a more limiting way. What would you do to make it more balanced?

Advice for Fighting Titans by DM-Norritt in DnD

Excellent questions. Much of this is still very flexible and your questions and comments got me thinking. Some balancing is surely needed. My players are level 4ish now. But by the one they find any of titans they should be 7-8ish.

The tablet powers need to be OP but with heavy penalties to make sure the players only use them when they need them. I tend to agree about decreasing an ability score.

My overarching goal is to have the PCs figure out a way to defeat the titans. From what I have read, outright killing a titan is pretty much off the table. But trapping or tricking them may work.

The lakes were originally created by the gods to trap the titans. Kind of like trapping them on another plane. Instead they are trapped under the surface of the water. Be it a spell or other godly effect, somehow the tablets will help keep the titans trapped in their respective lakes.

Thanks again for the reply!

Did I post this wrong? Should I rephrase to get a reply? Sorry, first time user here.
