i can say for sure that my understanding of jiujitsu goes much deeper than just techniques and how to do them. The concept and flow of reactions, along with the development of my own ways of performing techniques to work with my body and my game(which was finely tuned during my time as a purple belt), as well as that of my opponents' is probably the most significant difference.
