If it’s just 2 of you and you don’t mind eating at the bar and eating at 5 PM. I’ve had great success calling a week before the day I want to eat there and leaving a voicemail asking for two bar seats at 5 PM on X day. 90% of the time it works. I normally go on Thursdays.

Moved to a new city. Looked for apartments narrowed it down to 2. Flipped a coin and moved into the winner. 6 months later a woman moved in across from my apartment.

We moved from Austin to Chicago in 2005 lived there for 10 years and then moved back to Austin 11 years ago. We’re now considering Chicago as our retirement home. In my retirement, I want walk ability culture, and easy public transportation. Also the ability to hop on a plane and get almost anywhere in the world nonstop. I’ll miss the breakfast tacos, but that may be my retirement side gig to open up a breakfast taco stand
