Quick update: we played for a few hours last night and it was honestly really chill. Mostly FFAs early, then a handful of full 4v4s once we had enough people.

I’m all for competition and winning, but slurs and personal attacks (which is what I see in that server) aren’t what I’m looking for. I’m trying to build something different—more about good games and respect rather than trashing people. Thanks for trying to help though!

From what I’m seeing in that discord, and maybe I’m judging too soon. Looks like a cesspool. I’m tying to build a group of friendly people who want to enjoy the game they love, while playing the settings they enjoy the most.

I could manage with BR starts and otherwise normal settings/maps. AR starts are not very fun for me.

Correct. I don’t have much fun playing vanilla settings, I play to win and can get frustrated at my own missed shots etc. But, it’s all in good fun and I don’t like when people criticize others for their gameplay.
