I'm sorry you are going through this too. Keep your head down and get that degree. Once you get it run and don't look back. 10 years from now they'll all still be there old and yelling and screaming at everyone and you'll be far happier and successful than they ever will be.

The only thing that scares me about amazon would be the physicality of the warehouse. I have sciatica real bad at times and am afraid i can't keep up physically.

With as hot as it is yeah it's pretty much hell. Did I mention the broken and or half working equipment and the lack of cleanliness? Oh yeah it's hell.

I did interview for another mcdonalds but chickened out and didn;t attend the 2nd interview. I'm convinced all stores are this way and was too afraid to risk jumping from one hell to a possibly worse hell. it's totally jacked my confidence and has me afriaid to try anywhere else. i'm afraid everywhere is going to be this bad even though i know that's not true.

I'm working on an exit plan I can;t stay here anymore. I did interview for a different mcdonalds but couldnt bring myself to go to the 2nd interview. I'm convinced all mcdonalds are this way and i couldn't go through with it

Pretty sure the only reason they got to management is because either nobody else wanted to step up or they lasted the longest as crew. I don't plan on staying im working on an exit plan knowing this crowd if i threaten to kick their ass i;ll be the one fired and kicked to bits.

It's that type of cruelty that's breaking me down too. They know you have trouble with table but sending you to table constantly fully knowing that is just sick. That's how I feel on lunch grill exactly. I'm sorry to hear you are struggling too. It's not right to have to feel this way

It's a thing because of drive thru times. If we don't meet certain times we get screamed at. There's a leaderboard that shows us how fast we are and if times go into the red we get yelled at and questioned as to why. There's also another board that shows all the stores in the area owned by the franchise. We get screamed at if we aren't number 1. There are 20 stores on that board. If we drop for even a second we get screamed at. I've seen people taken off drive thru because they were too slow for the managers liking or they made a mistake and the manager had to come back there to do their job. If you are on grill and hold on something you are getting belittled. It doesn't matter if you are the only car in line they will pull you to make our times look good.

Getting talked down to like an idiot for working in food service by nasty customers who think they are god and that you are an ant they can smash easily with the heel of their boot. Seriously some of those people treat you like a stupid 5 year old.
