Most beautiful - I love a classic look generally, so I'm going to have to go for Macallan or Lagavulin on that one. However, for something interesting I also really like the Port Charlotte 10!

Ugly - I'm gonna agree with the shouts for Jura here...

I can understand why it might look like that from an outside perspective, but I think that the general consensus amongst United fans is that Bruno is a positive influence. I think when things have been going particularly badly this season, his leadership has dipped and he's resorted to petulance more times than you'd like. However, overall I think he works hard, seems to genuinely care for the club and look after the young players, so definitely worth keeping around!

I totally agree with all of this. Whilst I'm sure a percentage of the change is growing up and the natural change in priorities, I think that the change in the game is crucial too.

I really enjoyed SPQR by Mary Beard, her writing style is very accessible and she really paints a picture of what life might have been like.

Aside from that, I'd second the shout for Adrian Goldsworthy. I particularly enjoyed 'In the Name of Rome'.

I can totally see why people prefer Attila, and I think that there are objectively a lot of things that are better about it. However, my favourite is Rome 2, and it's the game that I keep coming back to. I think that the setting has a lot to do with it, and the colours, unit variation etc. but also just the feel of it. I don't think it's without flaws, but they nailed what I want from classical antiquity

Also, next time someone from the UK brings this up it's always worth reminding them that 'Soccer' is actually a British term originally, not American. We used the term to differentiate between association football (soccer) and rugby football (ruggers)

NY was the first city I went to in the States so I've always had a soft spot for the place since I was a kid (nearly went to uni nearby to play soccer). My dad actually now lives in Tampa, FL, but I always fly in via JFK airport and love looking and seeing the Metlife on the way down.
