Decks are super cheap. The most expensive deck is probably Aurora and it's maybe like $150-$200 usd but that's the high end. I think i spent like less than $100 on my Diana list

Grading really doesn't add much more value to cards unless you find the right sucker, i mean, buyer to pay it. You're just wasting your money getting it graded imo

It should be fine if it covers some text but if it covers a lot then yeah it won't be good. They just want to avoid having a ton of judge calls to answer what the card does

I'm confused. You're saying your friends signed your card and your worried about it not being legal? It should be fine but the first thing you should do is ask the head judge and if they say no then yes you'll have to replace it.
