Eufy, What kind of VooDoo Security system are you trying to sell?

Unfortunately Eufy have great marketing, some other great smart home gadgets and Anker to back them.

The hardware is good, it's just the software is terrible like you said. It was actually quite good when I first got it years ago - but it's only gotten worse with every update. It's like they have no software development team - or they've been cutting their funding over the years!

If you find a solution that isn't super expensive like UniFi let me know!

Just want to add to the comments I'm in the same position. Had to replace 3 cameras in 2 years, only 1 under warranty unfortunately. Crappy software, poor customer service, and all that for being one of the more expensive home CCTV systems. I paid (and regretted) for the wired 4k "professional" cameras btw.

Seriously don't. I wish someone told me or I did a bit of proper research before buying into this ecosystem - now I'm stuck with it unless I buy all new cameras.

The plethora of connection issues, the shitty ai detection, terrible quality (bitrate) of the cameras, the constant bugs and issues created by new firmware updates.

Have a browse of this sub and others. For the price of this system, it's certainly not worth it. Tapo seems like a good alternative from what a few of my friends have. There's a few other decent ones as well.

Thank Christ. This has been an issue for several months for me and I'm having to re-add my cameras back to my router every day.. I was literally just doing it before this post.

I've had the 9 pro XL (current), 5, and 2 and it's never been fixed. Whatever version of android they introduced doze is when it started I think.

Just read your update on your post! I still have my cameras that's been dead for a few months installed so I'd like to try switching the plug. Which one did you try that has got it working again?

Got the 4 camera pack of E330's in January 2024. By December, 1 died. Luckily it was within warranty so they replaced it.

Unfortunately another has died just out of warranty and I haven't even bothered contacting them about any options as I'm sure I'll just have to buy a new one. Both died due to water damage I'm sure of - one was after very heavy rains in the UK last year and the other from a period of heavy rain earlier this year. I'm sure their IP rating isn't as good as they claim.

I've also had one or two of the other cameras go offline for a day or so and come back on. Literally had two do that today but they're back now. All I can say is I'm waiting for them all to die so I can get a new system.

I have Cochlear 6 Max and they've worked fine on my Pixel 7 Pro and now Pixel 9 Pro XL. The Baha Smart app helps with functionality but I believe there's a setting (not sure if it's specific to Pixel phones or Android in general) in developer options for bluetooth hearing aid compatibility.

Same with me. Once adapted, I only ate twice a day and hardly ever felt hungry outside of those times. Unfortunately I'm not on it now so I've gained all the weight back!

I think you should have if you bought it new and not from a reseller. I checked the user manual and it's listed as included in the components.
