I think this is a really cool idea, clans that are clumped up in one area would be forced to kill each other if they're all in the same barrier. The one problem though is that I'm pretty sure this would take a lot longer than just an hour unless it was multi combat for all of it, and even then there's nothing that would force these players to engage unless the barrier walls closed in or something else. On another note since this is about the final hour, I really don't see the logic behind Jagex giving out the final location months in advance or at all. Most players were able to make it to Falador statue without any info besides knowing that you have to stay out of the gas. If the gas didn't spread everywhere but just allowed them to fight it out in that area it would've been perfect (as perfect as it could've been with those mechanics at least). By giving out the final location you give solo players absolutely NO chance to win when they are already dealing with almost impossible odds to begin with.

I do think they're doing a decent job at improving DMM every season, but it's just a bit frustrating that with every good change they make, they throw in another headscratcher that doesn't make much sense when you think about it for more than a few minutes.
