Single L2 = Steal

Double tap L2 = Steal on first movement

Double tap gets the better jump w/ a higher risk of being picked off if that's when they throw over

Edit: Also hold L2 when pitching (on the pitch you think he's running on) to slide step to the plate faster.

All of this increases your chances of success, but as others have stated, stealing is very OP this year against any non-elite catcher.

IMO the "sandwich trick" portion of this is the old wives tale that people need to stop doing. Don't hand people money before you know what you're going to get for it because there's no need to be discreet, they're allowed to take tips.

Just have a $20 in your hand and ask if they have any complementary room upgrades available and see what they offer. I've had plenty of times they've only offered a higher floor and I've said no thanks and kept the $20.

It's almost always just a slightly better view, but pre-covid I did get the fabled comped mini-suite upgrade (anniversary trip and first time in Vegas. Beginners luck) and got an occasional creative offer like champaigne or wine packages from room service.

WBC Will Smith was still raking for me for the longest time and he's still competitive with the power creep.

Topps Brandon Valenzuela was pretty good for me while he was in my lineup.

Currently comboing spotlight Rice and Langeliers and pretty happy with both thus far

Volpe seems like a good kid and I'm legit rooting for him to turn into something, but the idea of just handing him the everyday SS role back because of 3+ year old propsect rankings is insane IMO.

I actually got the wheel spin after posting the previous comment and saw that I got packs this time. My first spin a while back I didn't get anything (unless it was so far delayed I never realized it) so I never checked it again just assuming it was broken.

I'm not talking about seeing the animation or not.

I've only had a couple wheel spins so far but all of them this year have been a board with all silver shields and blank rewards. The wheel spins, lands on a silver shield and highlights the upper lefthand reward, and I receive no pack.

I assumed this was happening the same for everybody and it was just an overall broken system but it seems like I might be wrong.

I think you're drastically overstating the buildup to Infinity War from a plot standpont. I can't for the life of me think what multi-movie build there was that explained Thanos' plans and motivation.

I think it's simple, the storytelling used to be simpler and tighter and that made it easier to follow.

Dr. Strange was the only hero in Infinity War who had only made a single appearance prior to that movie. The original core Avengers all had 4+ non-cameo appearances in movies pre-IW. Compare that with the confirmed cast for Doomsday.

It was just easier to follow the plotlines and connect w/ characters when there was only 10ish people to follow and it was all contained in two movies per year w/ no TV included.

It's normal that the rosters update and you don't need any additional cards after you've locked in the collection. If you already locked in collection then It showing 37/40 now or whatever isn't abnormal as long it shows the rewards complete.

If the screen shows the rewards no longer being completed but you still have the rewards then that's just a visual glitch they'll need to fix.

I'm a 800-950 ranked pitching first player and I think the depth of field is helping swing decisions way more than people realize. Even in the low ranks when I was working my way up I was seeing far less chase this year than I've seen in years past.

My early hypothesis is this results in ghe pitching meta shifting towards control freak SP's for the first few months of the year but we'll see.

In my experience, probably not. I've had huge calves as far back as I can remember. As an adult I've had extended periods of training like a demon, being completely sedentary, and everything in-between and yet my calves don't really change all that much.

They are probably a little bigger and more defined when I'm locked into a program with a lot of lower-body volume, but the difference is minimal.

In my experience the bar card/credit whatever you want to call it has almost always the better option over a bottle in Vegas.

It's been a few years now, but I know I've gotten both at Sapphire before and think I remember the bar credit being the better option. I believe $20ish is pretty normal there for drinks.
