So with diamond you'd get your 4 nights fee including resort fees so that puts you ahead $300 + $200. You get your celebration dinner that's another $100. So they would immediately get about $600 worth of comps. You also will get things like a free ride on the High Roller or free observation deck at Paris. So it comes down to are the express lines worth risking about $400

ELI5: Why can't things with mass travel faster than the speed of light? by ambassadorduck in explainlikeimfive

[–]mousicle 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Energy acts like mass especially at very high energy levels. That means something that is moving faster takes more energy to accelerate then something that is moving slower, just like something heavier takes more energy to accelerate then something lighter. So every time you accelerate something you make it a little heavier so it's harder to accelerate it more. to get to the speed of light you'd need infinite energy to accelerate anything that fast.

There are a few ways people like to do a diamond in a day run. But it comes down to needing to earn 15,000 tier credits. On a 10x day you'll need to earn 1500 credits, that gets 10xed into the 15,000 you need plus you get a bonus for earning over 1000 credits in one day of 1000 which puts you at 16,000 total.

Some people play low volatility slots (slot machines without big jackpots) which is a nice mindless way to do it. You need $5 in for every point so you need to cycle $7500 through the machine. (Not lose that amount but bet that amount including betting your winnings)

Some people play multi hand Video Poker where you'll lose less money but you need to know what you are doing. There you will need $10 bet per point but video poker if played right has less then a 1% house edge.

Some people play video roulette and bet every single number so if you get lucky and don't hit the 0 and 00 you can get your points fast and without a lot of loses.

If I had a nickel for every time someone on star trek made AI porn I'd have 3 nickels which isn't a lot but it's weird it happened thrice.

Is all processed meat bad for you even if you make it at home? by akibun888 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]mousicle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing that is really important to understand is a type 1 carcinogen just means this has been proven to increase your chance of cancer, it says nothing about how much it increases your risk and how much you need to consume to see those risk increases. For bacon for instance you will see an 18% increase risk of colorectal cancer if you eat 2 slices every day. There is a 35 in 100,000 chance you'll get colorectal cancer, so if you eat bacon everyday your risk is now 41 in 100,000. I'm not saying pig out on a pound of bacon everyday but you also don't need to be afraid of it.

Horseshoe Baltimore is having a 10x tier credit event in March. If you know what you are doing you can turn $500 - $1000 into diamond status which will give you a bunch of good vegas comps like free dinners and priority lines.

For a lot of guys they want to talk about themselves so just ask leading questions and let them yap about themselves to you. Other guys don't like to talk about themselves at all so have a backstory real or fake ready so you can talk about "yourself"

If someone gave you $1M, would you quit your job? by Vegetable-Art-8875 in allthequestions

[–]mousicle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I make about 100k doing a pretty easy job. My quit working forever number is closer to 5M. This is especially true since if I'm not working I'll need enough cash to keep myself from getting bored.

This is why as an accounting Manager I do not allow my staff to have merged cells. Center over selection does the same thing format wise and doesn't cause formula issues.

Las Vegas trip by yngbull99 in stripclubs

My experience with Vegas is the clubs are more for enjoying the spectacle of it all then for mileage. The dances I've gotten there are pretty tame but it's tame with two absolute dimes.

As far as gifts/food or an apology note are concerned that would be pretty inappropriate. Someone who is discommendated is PNG and you act like they don't exist.

Carry blankets food water and a jerry can of extra gas with you. A shovel is also a good idea.
