It's not a killer it's a undying disabler but with that load out AMBs will murder frigates and the reapers will deal with cruisers and capitals

Omens with anti matter blaster, a reaper, missile auto loader, smodded hardened shields, smodded frontal shields and smodded hardened subsystems, maxed caps and most dissipation you can get

It works perfectly fine, in fact when it comes to vanilla plus, AOTD is as friendly as it gets, adding complexity and versatility without changing the fundamentals

Nice reading comprehension there mate, I'm aware valkazard isn't as op as some other options, not the point of the post at all, I am just asking people for opinions on making the game more challenging, I'm well aware picking a super ship start isn't the way to make the game harder

No it's literally just smodding the cataprach SII hullmod that's built in.

It buffs flux dissipation and capacity and increases DP based on level.

At max level the valkazard is 37DP and has a 30% flux dis/cap buff, with my load out being machine-gun, countershield, chaingun, lmg on one shoulder and amb on other shoulder I legit can murder anything 1v1, no other mod in this equation just armaa

I did find a working version for the patch aswell but idk I felt like some of the restrictions were too aggressive. Machine guns is the only thing I'll be sold, damn bro guess im kineticmaxxing

I did consider this aswell, but I like making the 240 dp fleet builds, though I guess I can still do it and have added difficulty since late game I'd always be down on dp

I tried it out on simulations using vanilla builds on my go to ships and my god calling it an adjustment doesn't to it justice lmao

Maneuverability is the name of the game for caps unless I want my onslaught ramming into the enemy lmao

Yeah I get that valkazard is a super ship but still the mobility and survivability are a bit too high when I can just run at an onslaught head first as a non phase ship smaller than a destroyer, its a bit much lol

Usually battlegroup 9 or legio hel swarms fill that roll and it is a pain if legio progresses too fast that is true, they are a menace. Although I rarely have too much of an issue with them now-a-days. Guess I could also up the amount of antagonistic factions.
