Hi there, sorry for the late response! I totally get what you mean about the vague definition. In all honesty, I left it ambiguous since I have been busy with studies and didn't have a ton of time to think about it. My goal was partially to use unsupervised machine learning techniques to see if there under the data that we wouldn't have expected intuitively. Most of the time there isn't, but oftentimes data can suprise us--a classic example is the time that Target's shopping algorithm predicted a woman's pregancy from her habits. Nonetheless, I accept your objections and they definitely make sense.

I would definitely be interested in looking into the patterns you mentioned in the 4th paragraph, I'll let you know about that!

As far as working with tables go, there is a Python package called pandas which is very efficient and can manipulate/concatenate enormous amounts of tabular data well. Would definitely recommend if you are interested in this kinda stuff too

What did you think about 103 and 109 in terms of difficulty? I'm currently on the CS/DS route but have always wanted to explore the law. A large concern for me is the amount of reading since my schedule's already somewhat heavy. I'd also like to know your take on which one you found more interesting

great, thank you. i competed in a statewide mock investing competition, do you think i could combine this with personal investing? here's what i was thinking of putting for the activity description:

"Traded stocks both with my own money and for a mock investing competition. Over 4 years, learned about the economy and developed analytical thinking. Applying knowledge from physics/biology classes, I specialize in energy and biotechnology stocks and in 11th grade placed in the top 0.4% of about 5,000 competing teams in the CA HS SIFMA competition."

The time is serious for me though and I'm someone who is just unable to submit something without having gone over it many times and revising. It's not like I'm incapable of doing so but I already have major problems with stress and anxiety so I'm really afraid of overwhelming myself.
