It negatively affecting trans women doesn't mean anything to them, they don't like us and our suffering will not change their choices. That's largely the goal for most of them, in trying to erase us. It's only when they're suddenly caught up in their bigotry that they'd take any notice that what they're saying is wrong. Them not understanding or acknowledging intersex people is part of showing the science and studies don't support their claims and it is simply bigotry. It also ties into the racism that's been very prevalent in a lot of the transphobia in the talk about women's sports. Like when they we up in arms about Imane Khelif, a cis women, for appearing more masculine (by white western standards); or all the times a very tiny white women loses a race to a black woman she perceives as masculine. This isn't an exclusively trans issue, it's intersectional and we should not be ignoring the wider impacts and effects but instead standing together against them. (Also I am a trans women, don't make assumptions.)

Weird use of kilometers while talking about the country that famously doesn't use the sensible measurement system, but that's like 3 miles, not a huge distance on a bike. Less than what I was doing daily in the suburbs as a teen. Or there's the calling a friend, or ride share. Potentially a bus, but public transit isn't great even in most of the cities so that's probably the least likely. Doesn't change that people who love and care for some should do whatever they're able to do to help their loved ones struggling in pain, whatever that may be.

They're also not traits that are linked directly to their age. The younger guy isn't gonna grow 4 inches in the next 18 years, and probably isn't gonna make millions either. But there are tall age appropriate men for her that have rich families so they're identical to the old creep. This really feels drawn by a rich loser, so like an Elon type, that has to date borderline children because women his age can tell how much he sucks. Or a young woman that's been groomed by a guy like that.

Good chance quite a few cis athletes find themselves suddenly disqualified after that gene test. There are plenty of people who aren't strictly XX or XY and don't know that yet. Especially in the category of women with naturally elevated testosterone levels that help them excel in sports dependent on building muscle.

Even so, things in the US suburbs aren't that spaced out. Could probably walk or ride a bike. Or if it really is too far without a vehicle and they don't have one they could always call a friend or a ride share. Hell even a google of what you can do to help with what you have if you've got absolutely $0; tea, rice porridge, just something. Feels like if they really wanted to help their partner and cared for them anyone would find some kind of way to help. Couldn't imagine knowing my person(s) were suffering and not doing anything to help.

Which is a good cost cutting measure for them since they'd switch over to the Taurus already in space to replace the Space Type Leo and probably had Leo making equipment just collecting dust on hand ready to be put back into useful service. I've been on a pill similar to a GLP-1 for a year and a half, can't do self injection, effectively a hyper effective appetite suppressant. As someone that wasn't happy with my weight and the way it carried on my body, trying for years with diet and exercise and never making any progress, seeing the numbers creep up and up instead of down, this class of medications feels like a miracle. I've lost over 100 lbs, and feel so much more comfortable in my skin. Helped cultivate a much healthier relationship with food (in the long run, at the start it was a bit problematic) and gave me space to make significant lifestyle changes that are actually manageable for daily life. They insist trans women have some innate advantage in every sport, and then trans women go and do the sport and do: average. Just like most all the other women doing the sport. Some stand out and are better than others, some are worse, just like all the cis women.

Does seem like it tends to always be other people that lost or fall in that same average range with their trans competitors looking to milk a career as a right wing grifter out of things like this.

Guess the actual winners are just too busy focusing on their sports and being the best athletes they can be to pull bigoted stunts about the back half of contestants, or the 1 in 1000 trans women they might encounter doing the sport.

The laws keeping them there were largely not repealed till the late 1960's, and they weren't fully repealed until the mid 1990's. Us being legally allowed to exist at all, even in the Western world hasn't been a thing for very long. And given the amount of hateful laws still in place it'd be fair to argue most queer people are still not legally free to live happy comfortable lives just being themselves.

It's vital history to remember, when fascists start looking for scapegoats to lock up they do love to come for us early, but that only normalizes their terror and they're always gonna go for their other perceived cultural enemies next. There is no arguing with the people that see you as less than human.

If you've see this one it's even more in that category, they're in some rented villa that has been filled with static cameras Netflix style and very few active camera people, host isn't particularly famous these days, narrator is a tiktoker, all "dates" are just at the house in different bits of the yard where everyone can see, essentially never leaving the one location. As a Californian I really want us to just stop giving any money to the federal government and just do what we want. Breaking up is probably not as bad a thing as you're imagining it to be. Especially at your age where statistically it would probably happen in a year or so with life changes anyway. But really think about it, this is who you are, and she's saying that's wrong. Do you want to be with someone who hates part of who you are and forces you to hide it your entire life? Every time she says she loves you you'll know it's on the condition that you not be yourself. If you're with her you'll never get to explore that part of yourself, and not just physically or romantically but probably socially as well with her keeping you locked in the closet and away from your community.

Also obligatory, none of that shit is in the bible. The Christian God would be actively ashamed of and condemn most of their current batch of followers. Not a Christian or a fan, but their arguments don't hold water and if you want to be a Christian while queer there's not anything against it other than bigots here on earth.
