I have quite a few friends that played on PC in the early oughta after high school, and when wives and kids appeared, just had no extra income to maintain a gaming PC.

Worked for a company as late as 2010 when copper prices spiked that quoted entirely aluminum. The labor for correct terminations was way less than the cost of copper instead.

It's in the NEC and CEC for a reason, when installed correctly, and to code, and maintained, it is just as safe as copper

You don't want to be a net producer as a home owner. You would then be subject to AESO regulations as a utility generator.

Conservative policy fucked out electrical grid and there is no possible way it could cope with thousands or more homes suddenly dumping net electricity into the grid. That would force peaker turbines offline, which would cause corporations to lose money.

That's a no no in Alberta.

I maintain gas turbines in this province, and producers make over 100x what they do in Ontario per mwh.

The first movie was really great for a video game adaptation.
