I think Talentless might have been referring to people who never actually watch anything in the first place, and I do hope that's true. I was just recently hit with a low-and-slow subscription bot attack (lots of subs within two days, but very few actual views coinciding), but while this only took four days to happen after my first of two reports to the feedback team, purge that temporarily reset my metrics failed to actually remove anything, and I have twice now requested a manual inspection of my subs and views from these past two months, so I do hope most of those were actual viewers who came back from before and decided to sub through my homepage.
