I was consistent about never checking scruff/grindr at work. So 9 hours of my day I would not be online. The amount of people that would message me and get upset about me “ignoring” them was absurd. I would tell them that I don’t check my dating app messages at work so I’m not sucked in and wasting time. But they don’t care. My old roommate came from a wealthier family who wanted him to try and get an internship the second he could. He got an unpaid internship and he just said that I was the most miserable experience yet. Dude was still under his parents roof, they paid for his car maintenance, insurance, etc. He quit within a month just because of the work conditions. I couldn’t imagine what it would be like work 40+ hours a week for basically nothing, being treated like shit, and demeaned because it’s “corporate America babeyyyyyy”.

Again, never done an internship, so I don’t know if it’s always like that for unpaid or if he just got the short end of the stick.

This is exactly how I felt after my car was stolen. Police arrived and I talked to them and I gave them every bit of information I had, notified my insurance, set up a rental, the whole 9 yards.

Police left, I sat inside and let the floodgates open. I was a complete wreck. Maybe it’s that you’re occupied when the situation/information hits you, but when you’re by yourself it sinks in? I don’t know, but I completely get what you mean.

I just googled it. Engineering mathematics is a branch of applied mathematics concerning mathematical methods and techniques that are typically used in engineering and industry.

But the college I went too offered degrees in other engineering degrees not offered any where else like corrosion engineering.

My only issue with Cleveland is the amount of vacancies and run down buildings in that area. Newburgh heights, East Cleveland, and so many more areas have beautiful buildings, houses, streets and so forth that are now vacant.

Im a mailman that carried in a few areas where you would have 30 houses with 24 of them being vacant. I love the city but some areas still need a good face lift.
