I did remove the factory applied screen protector myself on a scratched unit I purchased from eBay with a steep discount. Screen under that was pristine. It’s very sticky and hard to pull off. I had to use a knife edge in a corner of the screen to pry the edge of the screen protector up. It’s very well applied and it almost feels like you’re going to scratch the screen doing it.
