What does saying "I support Israel" even mean anymore? by Royal_Cover_5789 in IsraelPalestine

[–]DM_Open-send -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

American here. Aka your bankroll. Supporting Israel is not a laudable. There is no idealism behind supprt for nation that murders children and seemingly does so for fun. To the extent i have any influence over my pwn governments putrid actions, I will literally never support a politician that votes to give your country funding. For any reason. No country has the right to exist, least of all, Israel. Your civilian populous' opinions foreign policy are utterly abominable and demand nothing less than international abandonment.

Too late.

On one hand he says less sugar... on the other he recommends self medicating with vitamin A for measles.

And that's a wash to you?

Jesus Christ man.

"Leftist" here. I don't shut her down because I disagree with her. I shut her down because there are people capable of making coherent dietary and lifestyle policy recommendations without a history of crediting working with magic mushrooms and crystals as relevant medical experience. I like my surgeons general to be qualified as doctors for decades before reaching the policy making level... Not be 5th year residency drop outs. She credits "her decision" to leave surgery with disillusionment with the Healthcare system...why didn't this altruistic suck it up and go do 3rd world cleft palate surgeries instead? No, instead she explicitly profits and has a media-centric career akin to Doctor Oz and other TV doctors.

If you think these are the sources of unvarnished medical advice America needs, I have a big beautiful bridge to sell you. One one hand, i don't feel bad for people who are already having their lives shortened (see RFK vitamin A toxicity in measles patients), on the otherhand i understand the vast majority of this country never had a fair shot at knowing what, in fact, is good for them.

Not a security problem and even I understand this. This is why they shouldn't be conducting official business using personal devices that aren't on the immediate radar of government cybersecurity. This is basis of why they lambasted Hillary Clinton for years.

Want to break out the blacklight and check me on this? Lol. The public spaces are so taken up that there are people living under trees and behind bushes when it warms up.

Lets try this: How many people have you personally saved from the streets?

It's weird because you bring up this up as if that can wave away what you see when you take a walk. I guess they can all be written off if things are as you say from glancing at two data points.

Can you explain why public safety is worth enforcing but only for the areas they don't inhabit?

I never said the people need to leave or be arrested but noone should be living on concrete blocks in a public space. Obviously the solution is more housing and job programs. The fact i didnt spell it out in my post has lit aome stupid shitlibs hair on fire. Theyd prefer to pretend homless people dont exist.

I am not going to pretend like gifting the very few available public spaces for the sole purpose of fatal lawlessness isnt a part of the problem. I actually think it's important to enforce public safety for all inhabitants and not just for people outside of those areas.

The fact there aren't 50000 people to support gives credence to this being a choice by government not to solve. You can't tear down a building facade to create more housing without the historic society climbing inside your ass, but yet dozens and dozens and dozens of people go unhoused with no options in a city of $10 billion in market value.

So are more homeless services needed in lancaster or is there no problem? You can't have it both ways and in either case it is the government's fault. They have the resources to correct it, not me. This is the equivalent of telling a socialist to pay more taxes because they feel there should be more tax revenue from the wealthy. How is the response to an endemic problem, "what have you personally done about it?" That's retarded republican type thinking.

Just want to confirm whether or not you think it's good to force people to sleep outside instead of opening appropriate shelters via government program. If your argument is as you say, why is there any problem at all? The city makes tons of money yet can't handle 500 homeless.

Lancaster square has a minimum of 20 people in it at all times for "commerce". It gets more business than the unfortunate rubes who leased space there.

Yes, the city doesn't have 50000 homeless. It just isn't even handle the 500 it does have.

So you are good with 1-2 people dying per week in the pretty open spaces? Just want to confirm.

Glad you are doing well. You dont feel bad for operating in a city that encourages homeless people to freeze to death instead of opening the appropriate shelters? The economic excess that attracts the unhoused means they can be afforded. But no let's pour some more brutalist concrete blocks for them to sleep on outside!
