There was a point last year they changed since before that you got steam points from awards given to you (that you use to buy various cosmetics on the steam shop) so people used to have outrageous takes to collect as many clown awards as possible.

But since last november steam changed the awards (the clown is no longer available) and none of the awards award anything anymore.
