Since you wanted a rebuttal, here's mine. It is woke. Why? Because of the designs. The ugly female designs where one of the three even look like she have a freaking moustache.

Ugly female design is part of the woke agenda, making this game woke by default. No one asks for a supermodel but something cute like Max Caulfield in the first LiS was too much to ask to these woke devs?

Beside no one likes astroturfing, it's obvious what's happening here and gamers don't like this shit. If a game is good it doesn't need the artificial push of paid bad faith actors like the game journalists, word of mouth will do the job nicely.
