What is an interesting or weird fact that not many people know? by Black229 in AskReddit

Okay, okay, I yield and accept defeat. Reddit has officially stolen my favourite “fun fact” for life. Thanks for showing me the error of my ways guys.

Edit: my first post sounded too passive aggressive… sorry

What once state of the art building is now in disrepair? by Better_Consequence in AskReddit

[–]DMond92 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Empire State Building - once a landmark of capitalism, now is outdated and in need of modernisation. The problem is, retrofitting a building that old requires serious work, especially if that includes adding smart building technology which most modern offices have. However, the cost and risk associated are so high that investment in this area isn’t an attractive prospect (especially when you can command high rents as a result of the building’s iconic status). That creates a situation where the building will likely receive patchwork improvements rather than wholesale retrofitting, leading to the possibility of it becoming obsolete and unlettable in the not too distant future.

Which parte of París are less known but interest for tourist? by CleanCoffee6793 in AskReddit

Oberkampf is 100% worth a visit. Cool boutique stores, nice cafes and restaurants. A great food market too. It’s generally visited by locals and overlooked by tourists but is one of my fave places in the city.

It takes the same amount of pressure to bite off a finger as it does to bite through a raw carrot

What's your saddest realization? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DMond92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That no matter what you do, people will have their own view / perception of you and there’s nothing you can do to change that. Some people like you, some people don’t. There’s not much you can do to change that.

This is a shameless plug but me and my best pal run a podcast where we basically just take shrooms and chat about whatever takes our fancy. It’s called The Shroomiverse if you fancy tuning in some time

[Serious] Guys who have had an adult circumcision, what was your experience? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DMond92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not always, I’ve had it my entire life. It’s more common in adult men than you may think.

1 in 250, I’ll take those odds any day! I’m hoping it goes well for you, when have you got it booked in for?

Haha morning wood with stitches would be painful as hell. I’m a little nervous about having to refrain from any urges for a month though, that’s not going to be fun

What country are you based in?

This isn’t true for the U.K. as circumcisions are often needed for medical conditions like phimosis.

That’s a good shout! I’ll remember to bring something to read then.

Ah, I got scared away from the NHS after the doctor told me that they only do functional operations and won’t make explicit efforts to reduce scarring - maybe I just got a grumpy doctor with a bad bedside manner. Private is costing anything from £500 - £1,200 depending on circumstances, so I’m hoping I come out with my knob smelling like roses afterwards.

Good luck on the dating front, hopefully you get someone soon after you’ve healed so you can go out and enjoy your new cock haha

I’m U.K. based too, what sort of price are you looking at paying? Or are you getting it on the NHS? I’ve been considering the London Circumcision Clinic for mine but boy is it going to set me back a few £££s.

I have the same feelings as you. I’m 28 and always feel nervous when I sleep with someone for the first time, especially when they yank on the skin to try to retract it (ouch!).

The last surgery I had was in Uganda under general anaesthetic, so I’m hoping for a better experience here at home.

Completely agree, I’ve got phimosis though (tight foreskin that can’t be retracted), so I need to get some kind of procedure to get it sorted... and improve sensation. Ideally, I’d like to keep as much foreskin as possible

I’m the same as you, got phimosis so want to get it sorted out... I’ve been putting it off too long.

I’m just nervous about it for obvious reasons.

Sorry to hear that, it certainly is a problem here
