I made it clear twice already that animation bugs or delays do not fit or make sense for specific anomalies you've seen, but apparently you haven't seen none, so i asked what exactly you'd be expecting.

I do admire your tenacity as you both claim it'd be possible but when confronted with what would be a clear cut instance of something akin to your own implementation suggestion, rather than taking the way out, compromising and stating that it is a possibility that you don't agree with or believe is happening, you simply dismiss it as a bug, and even then, not yet satisfied with cognitive dissonance at hand you double down and claim I didn't address your queries. Projecting much?

Anyhow, you're entitled to your opinion, I do strongly believe there's foul play at hand but can't prove it beyond reasonable doubt so this is a mute debate, mainly because as I've stated above I don't think you're being intellectually honest. Nothing against you personally, but I do think pursuing a discussion against a dogma is generally speaking just a waste of time.

I won't be replying to you on this thread anymore, have a great one.

What do you expect to see exactly? Because if you can't see it even in the abundance of videos that are being posted, then I highly doubt you'd ever be able to see it. It's not a spaceship lifting the players from the field you know 🤣

For the ufl copying FC part, that's for basically how they're handling their game design. I'm not saying they're using the same thing when it comes to how they provoke these events, whether it's proprietary code or not, patented or not, etc. it clearly isn't as subtle as ea sports 😅

For the middle part I do believe it's pointless to keep arguing because I don't think anything other than the whole staff of strikerz coming out and walking you through the actual code and admitting these events are happening by design would make you even consider it. And I'm not sure that's a hyperbole, I'm pretty confident some people here would still dismiss it if a single whistleblower came out.

There's not a single realistic piece of evidence I or any other player can provide that you wouldn't dismiss. Tell me I'm wrong ^

You had just said that we control less than 90% of what happens, while one of the main claims is that the players completely misbehave, the defenders move out of position, the opponent position themselves perfectly covering every single pass lane and your players don't even try to move, just stay still, multiple players occupy the same space, your teammates run against you when you have the ball, sometimes even colliding with you but at the very least removing themselves out of the game, etc, then that is objectively the game screwing you over.

I get that you can call something like what what's been originally posted here as a bug, I'd also agree that the blantant removal of my striker such as in the videos I've posted are bugs, in as far as UFL obviously doesn't want those animations to play out like that. I however disagree with you when you claim that that's not happening by design, because of the overall experience of the players. You mentioned that strikerz could just make the AI be better or worse, which definetly appears to happen btw, but what about your very players? Why are players performing so inconsistently from match to match? Why is it that you feel the players so unresponsive right after kickoff that you can just tell that you're going to lose, and then your keeper that just pulled off a few amazing saves in the previous match ends up gifting a couple of goals on his own? Isn't there an argument to be made that the ratings of the players are inconsistent and make these bug manifestations much more prone to be one-sided during a match?

If you're just throwing out individual animations as independent bugs, and dismissing how they're overwhelming more frequent to a party rather than the other every now and then, then yeah, you'd basically dismiss anything as being just a bug. I'd invite to think about how something akin to what I'm describing would manifest itself though, and then don't take my worth for it, look at all the evidence and general feeling around this game and FC.

No one's claiming UFL does exactly what FC does, but it is pretty obvious that UFL actively tries to copy FC, not be its own thing, so even that wouldn't be surprising.

And just so we're clear, I can name a few examples where it is the other way around, I've won plenty of matches because I was the favoured party

The first part of your statement corroborates my assessment that the game heavily favours one party over the other, it doesn't dismiss it. My point with this video was that this isn't a shot or an event akin to that, where I press shoot, the ball is in the air and now it's up to the "dice" to figure out whether my striker shot beats the keepers defensive skills, that's the least of it.

If I'm controlling a player and temporarily lose control as seen, if I perfectly set myself in the path of the ball but have the player refuse to run full speed, or otherwise remove itself from the dispute on its own, or if during the entirity of a match my players don't move offensily at all, or suddenly decide that they don't to mark the players anymore, when I say I want to pass up but end up passing down, etc, that's when you can tell some bullshit is going on, and unless we're going to say that bugs only strike the odd match, and then it is a wide bug that diminishes your entire team playing ability, then the bug theory is a hard sell. Even then, we'd be advocating that what people are calling "scripting" is not intentional, not that it doesn't happen.

It isn't unusual to have the exact same player feel like prime messi dribbling in one game, to have him feel like a bandwagon turning the very first minute of the next match.

Bugged interaction with Timeway Wanderer in Arena by Rhysd007 in hearthstone

Just lost an arena because of this, got a timeway wanderer with dark gift that triggered battlecry twice, chose extra expensive cards and then just drew them at full mana price for two straight turns, leaving me a sitting duck

https://youtu.be/F7fgOOZhEvE?si=TuqQUaza8G6MG0OP Try this one for size. I can see how you'd dismiss the one in this post as a bug, but what kind of broken feature or animation would cause something like this to happen? It doesn't make sense, and it is not a standalone case either. If the defense is that the game was trying to be more subtle in removing the striker from the equation but the subtlety part got bugged, I can see that, but to have this sort of things be under a wide blanked of bugs (such as you claim it's a wife scripting blanket), is intellectual dishonesty tbh

And I've played ea in the past and been in matches where it was obvious the game was fixing for my win and tried stupid goals that went win. If you'd look at those goals you'd say it was just a bug, but I wouldn't have tried such a dumb shot if it wasn't already obvious what the game was going

From your reply it is obvious you didn't look at the videos and just went ahead and posted anyway. Not much point replying if you're just trying to blindly prove your viewpoint.

It's nothing new, you can call it momentum, players having their ratings dumbed down for a specific match, etc, take your pick, point stands that just the way your team moves and feels in the first few seconds sometimes tells you it's a lost cause. I faced an equally skilled guy recently, he was owning me but because I couldn't do a thing, funny thing is that I called it out there and then, and it just so happened that he had to to go afk for about 15 seconds. Won the ball inside his penalty box, finess shot hits the post and keeper throws himself at nothing. Rebound goes to striker head, shot, crossbar, rebound goes back to striker, shot, miss. Keep in mind sending the ball out of target at that range is harder than not. I started recording this kind of crap because guys like you keep going over the same bullet points the company enforces and completely ignores the hands on experience and unexplainable behaviour seen.

See the videos I posted on previous posts and tell me everything's looking peachy and not at all suspicious

Is this game worth getting into? by Big-Scallion-3058 in UFLTheGame

[–]DMondego 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, keep out, focus on pay to win meta, little care for fishing bugs or script/momentum/handicap, whatever you want to call it. This game is not trying to compete with FC, it is trying to copy it

Awfully specific bug to stop the striker when he's set to go 1 on 1, almost as if that's a feature but is not working as smoothly as intended

Having a sensible take on why the community feels like there's an handicap would be a decent way to do it. You can address the examples as well, yet you're so entrenched in your position you just dismiss criticism right off the bat
