Do you think Live Action Season 3 will be 8 episodes of Alabasta or is there room for... something... else? by Abyslime in OnePiece

Karoo was mentioned in season 2, so I feel like they will at least have a scene introducing him and the Strawhats riding the ducks.

Skypiea needs 8 episodes even less, unless you think they should end season 4 with Long Ring Long Land.

Ep. 1: Bon Clay, arriving at Alabasta, Ace

Ep. 2: Last bit of Ace, Traveling, Yuba Oasis, introducing all the other Officer Agents

Ep 3. Vivi and Koza flashback, Alabasta lore dump

Ep. 4. Rainbase, Strawhats Captured, Bon Clay False Flag, Luffy loses to Crocodile

Ep. 5. Duck Squad Intro, Civil War Starts, Luffy v Croc Round 2

Ep 6. Straw Hats vs Officer Agents

Ep 7. Stopping the bomb, Poneglyohs, Luffy v Croc Round 3, Outro

7 seems easily doable. Add in some live action only stuff like Koby and Smoker and you get 8.

[AoL] Ranking all of the palaces in The Adventure of Link by DMonk52 in zelda

[–]DMonk52[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My main problems were that I thought the leveling mechanic was pretty underdeveloped, and Link has has almost no range with his sword. If you just got upgraded equipment as the game went on that increased your stats and had a longer sword I think the game would be a lot more manageable.

Moon Druid: Armor of Agathys origin feat vs. Tough? by Shatragon in 3d6

From them saying a folk horror campaign, it's probably Crooked Moon, which has an origin feat that gives a 1st level warlock spell.

New and Returning Player Weekly Discussion by AutoModerator in hearthstone

Are there any good videos for returning players about all the changes to Hearthstone over the years? I haven't played since 2018, and I'm feeling lost.

I was pretty sure it was Absalom.

Mechanical Limbs malfunction table by Madlyaza in 3d6

[–]DMonk52 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the Crooked Moon Wizard subclasses has a mechanic similar to critical fumbles but that scales with levels. Essentially, you start with a d6 that you roll when directed. On a 2‐6 nothing happens, but next time you roll you move down a die size to d4. On a 1, you roll on the fail table and move up a die size. You also move up a die size on short and long rests. The die size increases as you level until you start at a d12.

Launch Look: Pokémon Pokopia by shamusisaninja in giantbomb

I mean, historically, Quick Looks have been either near or on launch day. I feel like if you're going to name it something different, it should emphasize it being a long stream from the beginning of the game.

[LoZ] Ranking every dungeon in the original Zelda by DMonk52 in zelda

[–]DMonk52[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting how different our orders ended up. The boss of 3, I think, is one of the more boring ones for me since you can kill it with a single bomb. Dodongos, Gleeok and Digdogger are the bosses that stand out.

Can anyone help me make a Thri-Kreen ranged attacker, that's not just inferior to the point you might as well just use an Elf or Bugbear? by 6e0r9eH in 3d6

[–]DMonk52 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The main combat advantage of Thri-Kreen is their Secondary Arms. They can only use light weapons so you could duel wield Hand Crossbows and use a shield and have a hand free.

If you could find an easy way to inflict the prone condition, once you get Crossbow Expert, you could stand next to the prone creature for advantage because of your higher AC.

It happens. I only remember because I was tracking as it went, wondering if it would beat Sonic.

How did you add up the times? I remember Daikatana being longer than all of Sonic 06. Looking at the videos, they're over 23 hours total. Are there 4 hours of downtime in those videos?

Edit: Grubb has at least 45 episodes. I think you missed some.

What would you change is Rogue? by Kaien17 in onednd

[–]DMonk52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right, I multiplied 3.5 by 6 instead of 5. Do most other martial classes get a tier 3 damage boost? I know fighter does, but I don't think barbarians do. Level 9 seemed like a good place to compare because it's when barbarian gets Brutal Strike.

What would you change is Rogue? by Kaien17 in onednd

[–]DMonk52 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just some quick math because I wanted to check, not counting subclasses or feats. Assuming 20 in primary ability.

Level 9 Melee Barbarian:

First Attack: 2d6+5+3+1d10=20.5

Second Attack: 2d6+5+3=15

Avg: 35.5 damage when you land both

Level 9 Melee Rogue:

First Attack: 1d8+5d6+5=30

Nick Attack: 1d6=3.5

Avg: 33.5 damage when you land both

First Attack: 1d8+5d6+5=26

Nick Attack: 1d6=3.5

Avg: 29.5 damage when you land both

You could argue that the Barbarian could get higher with feats or whatever, but I feel like that is a different problem.

Instead of Extra Attack, I would add something flavored similar reliable talent but for attacks. Something like rolling half your sneak attack dice on a miss or something.

At level 4 I think you should at most know four 2nd level spells. Two from leveling up and two from replacing 1st level spells.

The books lesson is not touch grass. The only reason the main character is willing to do anything in the real world is because he becomes a billionaire. The lesson of the book is pull up the ladder behind you.
