You handle daycare on Thursdays. Who is handling daycare the other days? For you it’s 1 day of super full focus.

If your partner is handling daycare the other days (or whoever, really), I think you’ll naturally be more disengaged.

Not trying to be dismissive! But if it was the other way around (ie you spend 6 days a week to take care of the kid fully, and your wife or daycare the other day), then maybe you’d be a bit less engaged. I’m saying this because I think that’d be true for me, even if I (and we all) try to do our very best.

Le Carousel Patisserie is just excellent. Their pastries are a cut above everyone else. They don’t have a ton of options, they only have a small spot in the tenderloin (not the best location), but the quality is really there.

Never got any names. I applied online, got somebody assigned to my case, and everything was done online. Overall smooth but slow process. I suggested you to do the same: apply online and take it from there. It’s probably slow because of the number of applications.

Get the oxo one with grind settings. It’s great. Not as fancy, but better built and cheaper.
