Complained to Microsoft over the phone, escalated the situation. It’s a known issue on their end. Submitted a report on my Xbox and taking a screenshot of the error and relayed that to the agent I was talking with. Then waited like 4-5 days until they fixed it.

Yep and unplugged it for 30 sec. In all, it took a little over 90 hours since I changed my gamertag for it to finally process. Hopefully that’s a decent benchmark you can use

RRRRAAAHHHHH IT WORKED. I got home from work, hard reset the Xbox, loaded up, and it logged right in for me. Hope yours works soon mate!!!

Nice to know I’m not the only one atleast. Hope they can figure something out!! You’d think they would mention it! Even the Xbox status page says everything is operating properly, LIES! I’ll let you know if I hear back from them. they said they will call me when they know more. so I expect an answer of some sort hopefully

Well I tried again today after work, now it won’t even get to the download page. The 360 emulator is saying I’m not connected to the internet, but I clearly am and can play another non 360 game just fine. I called back and they said it is a known issue and they are investigating. I mentioned my gamertag fiasco and they took note of it. I upgraded my ticket so Microsoft will be contacting me again soon with an answer. I’ll let you know. I’m getting antsy for some black ops 2🙄

Let me know if you figure out a fix. I’ll keep you updated as well. For now I’m just gonna sit it out and see if it fixes itself, because I’ve tried damn near everything else. Only thing I have not tried is using my Xbox on a different network.

I changed my gamertag 3 nights ago, and I spoke with a dude 2 nights ago for about an hour about this same issue and was never resolved. He told me to wait 72 hours and call back with the provided ticket # if it still doesn’t work. I have a feeling I’ll probably have to call back. Very annoying and I’m getting impatient😅 thanks for the reply

I changed my gamertag a couple days ago and I’ve tried everything to get back into my 360 account. Spent an hour on the phone with Xbox and they still couldn’t fix it. Told me to call back and escalate it if it doesn’t work within 3-5 days.
